Good day to all!
Finally, it`s summer.
In any case, I just wanted to thank those of you who attended the St-Norbert event last night. Despite the torrential beginnings, things cleared up nicely and proved to be a fabulous evening. The site was a /*/gem/*/. The food and tea were delectable, the public were chatty and happy to be there.
The special private, (MLHS exclusive), tour of the park that followed the event was informative and exceeding my expectations! The grandeur of the interiors were quite unexpected and left a lasting impression.The organizers seemed thoroughly impressed with us and thanked us profusely. I will quote that we were told that we had `made the event`, `spearheaded the picnic` and that `it would not have had the same impact without us (you)`…
With such short advance notice for this event I`m proud of MLHS for pulling together and coming out in great numbers.
In order to strengthen our new bond with this site, I have extended an invitation to the organizers and their staff to come to our Fall Gathering this September 11th weekend. I also encourage any of you who have the desire or time, to volunteer at some of St. Norbert Heritage Park`s other events; most notably their Ghost Hike on the upcoming 23rd of August. Just contact them ahead of time to see how you can help and what costume you should wear.
