Our costumed interpreters can tell you stories about the people who lived right here almost 200 years ago!  Come visit as they demonstrate some of the crafts and trades of the time.  You can try your hand at grinding wheat into flour with the ancient hand mill.  The quern is a tiny version of Cuthbert Grant's mill!  When MLHS members turn that wheat flour into bannock and cook it over the fire,  the smell is amazing.   The camp will be a busy place with people of all ages going about their historic lives.  Perhaps the children can show you how to make rope. Maybe our carpenter will make some spindles on the wood lathe.
